Risk Assessment

The risk assessment part of a production is critical in filming as it help identify and helps people understand any potential hazards that could lead to putting someone at risk of getting hurt or worse.

The 4 most common steps to being able to identify any risks are:

  1. Identify any potential hazards and who would be affected by them

  2. Then evaluate those risks e.g. from a physical or financial aspect

  3. Prioritize mitigating the most dangerous ones

  4. Review and update accordingly to each part of production

examples could include fire stunts, explosions or car stunts which require a rigorous amount of going over and over to see if they safe.
