In the centre of the image the moon uses a darker blue boarder to surround the lighter cyan and for the sun it uses a orange to the inner yellow and the use of these complimenting helps create a dynamic contrast that is eye catching and draws the eye to the centre. In the outer edges the image uses adjacent colours (red and magenta) on the wavy lines that emanate from the suns half. The moon uses much cooler tones like blue, cyan and purple, it also uses much more straighter line as opposed to the sun side. The scene has a natural contrast from the uses of colour, the open and closed eyes and the uses of the wavier lines on the right and the straighter on the left to show that each side is different, like the left side being more serious and the right being more out there in comparison.
On the left of the image it uses much cooler colours like a lighter blue for the reflective water and a darker blue to contrast as the sky the use of adjacent colours helps create a nice blend between them that is easy on the eye. On the right it uses much more warmer tones to create the environment that the two focul points are walking through.
